Company is located in Granite
City, IL at Mile 185 on the Upper Mississippi River.
We are actively engaged the handling of all types of
goods, including general cargo and dry bulk commodities.
We also provide intermediate storage of goods in both
inside (enclosed warehouses) and outside (pad).

We continue
to invest in our equipment, to make us one of
the premier General cargo Docks on the Inland
River System. We employ two cranes and can work
two barges simultaneously. Typically, one is set
up as a clamshell operation and the other for
single lifts. The clamshell operation uses a "spill
sheet" that captures any material that is transfered
from the barge to the hopper. This insures that
any loss during transfer is kept to a minimum.
We routinely
handle single lifts of up to 65,000 pounds and
can handle up to 100 tons. We have forklifts that
range in capacity of 6,000-70,000 pounds. We use
spreader bars, pallet lifters, C- Hooks, and nylon
slings to protect your precious cargo. Stored
material is placed on racks and dunnage.

We
are pleased to be served direct, by the Norfolk Southern
Railroad and are open to reciprocal switching to all
carriers serving the St. Louis/ East St. Louis market.
We can handle anything from rail that we can from barge.
Goods
that are received from either rail or barge can be transferred
in either direction as well as trucks. While we are
not in the truck transportation business, we can and
do arrange for truck delivery. Our close proximity (within
10 minutes) of Interstates 55, I-70, I-64, I-270 and
I-255 allows to provide prompt delivery of goods. We
only use trucking companies that are fully insured and
share our commitment to service and the protection of
your product.
